Dressed in yellow and brown “Super Bad” garb, including cape, Seniesa Estrada anxiously walked into the Pearl Theater to perform feats of prizefighting that few others can duplicate.

In her Top Rank debut, the diminutive 105-pound stick of dynamite Estrada (23-0, 9 Kos) meticulously unraveled a battle plan to batter down the challenge of Argentina’s Jazmin Villarino (6-2-2) and win by unanimous decision.

The East Los Angeles native appeased her growing number of fans with a performance worthy of Las Vegas thirst for entertainment. It was a glowing exhibition from the fighter many consider one of the top five best regardless of weight class.

Many celebrities like Danny “Machete” Trejo and Emilio “the Mayans” Rivera could be seen mixing with the crowd anticipating another electric performance by Seniesa Estrada. They were not disappointed.

Others also performed including WBO middleweight titlist Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (13-0, 8 Kos) who could not continue his six-fight knockout string against Great Britain’s Denzel Bentley (17-2-1) who survived all 12 rounds. No knockdowns were scored in this strategic battle but numerous opportunities were available.

Another generation of boxing saw Emiliano Vargas (2-0, 2 Kos), the son of the great Fernando Vargas, score an impressive knockout win. After a solid first round by Julio Martinez (1-1), in the second round Vargas countered with a short left hook to the chin that left his foe flat on the ground. Martinez could not get up.

Vargas, 18, brought his many Las Vegas fans to the arena who exploded in cheer when he knocked out his opponent with a very short left hook. It was a punch delivered that might have made Sugar Ray Robinson proud as it did Fernando Vargas. The referee did not bother to count.

Two Southern California lightweights headed toward collision delivered convincing wins their two separate bouts. Raymond Muratalla (16-0, 13 Kos) forced a stoppage of Miguel Conteras (12-2-1) in their battle that ended in the sixth round. Carlos Balderas (14-1, 12 Kos) won by knockout in the eighth and final round over Esteban Sanchez (18-3).

Both Muratalla and Balderas could be fighting each other next.

Despite a small venue it proved perfect to display the female fighting talent of Seniesa Estrada. She emphatically showed that fighters below 126 pounds can attract crowds and perform explosively.

It was Seniesa Estrada;s first fight in more than 300 days and her debut fighting under the Top Rank banner.

The first two rounds were tentative and Estrada showed nervous energy against Jazmin Villarino.

By the third round action erupted and Estrada began delivering booming rights to Villarino's chin. She won every round.
