  Mayorga's taunts to
Cotto made him
chuckle. Despite the
taunts the fight was
very entertaining.

Mayorga's vaunted
right hand landed
early in the fight. But
Cotto withstood the

his boxing dictate the
fight.

After the overhand
rights stopped
landing, then the
uppercuts began

It was not enough to
slow down Cotto.

Cotto and Mayorga
began to exchange
frequently in the

the difference.

Cotto's jabs kept
Mayorga from use
of his strength. The
overhand rights of
Mayorga were not
landing late in the
fight.

Finally, during a furious
exchange Mayorga was
floored by a left hook
to the chin. Cotto
soon moved in to finish
Mayorga who suffered
an injury to his thumb
during the knock down.

despite the punishing

he is ready to fight
anyone Top Rank
places in his path.
