Reporter Jessica Rosales interviews East L.A.'s Angel Bojado who is looking to make his pro debut very soon.






World champion Mikey Garcia stopped by to support one of his team's fighters. Garcia remains undefeated and holds the junior lightweight world title. He also was a featherweight world champion. The former Oxnard resident now lives in Moreno Valley.







Carlos Morales defeated Puerto Rico's O'Nell Negron by technical knockout. He landed combinations throughout the fight but the Boricua never backed off. Finally, the ref stopped the fight in the seventh round. 






San Antonio's Hector Tanajara (left) defeated Durango, Mexico's Antonio Martinez by unanimous decision after four rounds. 







Francisco Esparza won his pro debut with a unanimous decision win over Carlos Gonzalez after four rounds. Esparza is trained by former boxing great "El Feroz" Fernando Vargas.
























Former US Olympian Jojo Diaz remains undefeated as a pro. The South El Monte prizefighter will be in action in October.




Mexico's Marvin Quintero reacts to knockout win over Puerto Rico's Jeffrey Fontanez. Quintero was behind in points but rallied behind several thunderous left hand bombs.






Oscar Negrete was declared the winner after his eight round bout with Jose Estrella. Referee Jack Reiss raises his hand.








San Bernardino's Juan Sandoval (left) engaged in a spirited war against Emilio Sanchez. During an aggressive exchange Sandoval's right eye sustained heavy damage. The fight was stopped by the ringside physician due to the eye.
